KARACHI: New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat first in the second one-day international (ODI) of three-match series against Pakistan at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi.
Pakistan eyeing ODI series
Having won the first one-day international, the Men in Green are leading the series and will be on the lookout to clinch the series with another victory today. Pakistan dominated the Kiwis in the previous contest defeating them by six wickets as Mohammad Rizwan played a solid 77 runs knock to help the hosts successfully chase a target of 256 runs in the first ODI on Monday.
The Kiwis are on a Test and one-day international tour of Pakistan a year after abandoning their tour over a security threat. Earlier, the two-match test series between the two teams ended in a draw with neither of them being able to secure a victory.
