RIYADH: The Saudi Film Commission is bringing back its Saudi Film Nights festival to China from November 28 to December 7, 2025, marking its second staging in the country.

During the third edition of Saudi Film Nights, four Saudi feature films will be screened across three major cities: Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu.

The lineup features Hobal, My Driver and I, Slave, and Esaaf, with Saudi filmmakers and industry talent set to attend the screenings and participate in open Q&A sessions with Chinese audiences and media.

Screenings will be held in major cinemas across China, chosen for their central locations and advanced technical capabilities to provide an optimal viewing experience.

Saudi Film Nights is organised by the Saudi Film Commission as part of its continued efforts to expand the global reach of Saudi cinema and promote cultural collaboration.

This year’s edition is being presented under the Saudi–Chinese Cultural Year, underscoring the deepening partnership between the two nations and highlighting the importance of cultural exchange through film and the arts.

The return of Saudi Film Nights to China reflects the commission’s commitment to expanding the global presence of Saudi cinema, showcasing national creativity, and positioning the Kingdom as a leading film destination that fosters cultural dialogue through the art of filmmaking.
