KARACHI: Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl in the first one-day international (ODI) of three-match series against New Zealand at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi.
The Green Shirts entered the field confidently, having not lost a single ODI series at home last year.
ODI series an opportunity for WC preparations
The three-match series is a chance for both teams to fine-tune their plans for the upcoming ODI World Cup in 2023.
Earlier, the two-match test series between them ended in a draw with neither of the teams being able to secure a victory.
The Kiwis are on a Test and ODI tour of Pakistan a year after abandoning their tour over a security threat.
