RAWALPINDI: Reon King, the former West Indies fast bowler and current member of the ICC International Panel of Match Referees, has been appointed as the match referee for the upcoming T20I tri-series.
The event will take place from 17 to 29 November 2025 in Rawalpindi and Lahore, with Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe competing in the seven-match series.
The opening match of the series will feature Pakistan against Zimbabwe at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Asif Yaqoob (from the ICC Emerging Panel of Umpires) and Rashid Riaz (from the ICC International Panel of Umpires) will serve as the on-field umpires, with Faisal Afridi (from the ICC International Panel) acting as the third umpire.
Tariq Rasheed, a member of the PCB’s National Elite Panel of Umpires, will take on the role of the fourth umpire.
For the second match, scheduled for 19 November between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, Faisal Afridi and Rashid Riaz will officiate as on-field umpires. Asif Yaqoob and Tariq Rasheed will be assigned as third and fourth umpires, respectively.
The match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka on 22 November, hosted at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, will see Asif Yaqoob and Faisal Afridi as on-field umpires, with Rashid Riaz and Tariq Rasheed acting as third and fourth umpires.
On 23 November, when Pakistan takes on Zimbabwe, Rashid Riaz and Faisal Afridi will be the on-field umpires, while Asif Yaqoob and Tariq Rasheed will serve as the third and fourth umpires.
For the 25 November fixture between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, Asif Yaqoob and Rashid Riaz will be on-field, while Ahsan Raza (from the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires) will take up third umpire duties, and Faisal Afridi will serve as fourth umpire.
On 27 November, during Pakistan’s clash with Sri Lanka, Ahsan Raza and Faisal Afridi will officiate as on-field umpires, with Rashid Riaz and Asif Yaqoob taking third and fourth umpire positions, respectively.
The series will conclude on 29 November, with Ahsan Raza and Asif Yaqoob as on-field umpires, while Rashid Riaz and Faisal Afridi will serve as third and fourth umpires.
