RIYADH: Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to fight and prevent corruption and boost joint cooperation.
The MoU was signed by the Saudi Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), President Mazin Al-Kahmous, and UAE Accountability Authority (UAEAA) Chairman Humaid Obaid Abushibs, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.
The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in combating cross-border corruption, facilitate the exchange of information related to corruption cases, and develop institutional capacities to improve enforcement and prevention.
During the signing ceremony, both sides discussed ways to further strengthen collaboration in promoting integrity and fighting corruption at all levels.
