LOS ANGELES: Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman and country music star Keith Urban have ended their 19-year marriage, with sources citing long-standing personal and professional differences as the driving factors.
Kidman, 58, formally filed for divorce in Nashville courts on September 30, 2025, following a period of private separation.
Insiders told Radar Online and People magazine that the couple had quietly drifted apart over the past year.
Kidman reportedly tried to maintain privacy for the sake of their daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14, while Urban, 57, moved into a separate residence in Nashville in June.
A source close to the family, cited by Radar Online, said, “They were using the time apart to quietly and amicably work out the details of the divorce. Nicole’s been holding on for the sake of their family, but this has been over for a while.”
