ISLAMABAD: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced comprehensive broadcast enhancements and a star-studded commentary team for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. The tournament, scheduled from September 30 to November 2 across five venues in India and Sri Lanka, promises to deliver an engaging and technologically advanced viewing experience for fans worldwide.

All matches will be produced for live broadcast by ICC TV, utilizing a world-class production model supported by JioStar and NEP.

Each game will be captured by at least 30 cameras, complemented by analytical tools, visual innovations, and specialty cameras such as drone and Spidercam footage to provide dynamic and immersive visuals.

The coverage will include a 30-minute pre-game build-up, in-depth innings interval programming, and post-match wrap-ups, ensuring a comprehensive viewing experience from start to finish.

Female-led

The commentary team is notably female-led and includes several seasoned broadcasters and former international players.

World Cup winners Mel Jones, Isa Guha, Stacy-Ann King, and Julia Price will bring expert insights alongside former captains Mithali Raj, Sana Mir, and Anjum Chopra. The lineup also features ICC men’s silverware winners Aaron Finch, Carlos Brathwaite, and Dinesh Karthik, as well as former international stars Katey Martin, Ian Bishop, Natasha Farrant, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, and Russell Arnold. Complementing these are experienced broadcasters Natalie Germanos, Alan Wilkins, Kass Naidoo, and emerging voices Raunak Kapoor and Jatin Sapru.
