ISLAMABAD: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza has reaffirmed the shared resolve of Pakistan and Türkiye to further broaden their unique relationship across all domains, reflecting common values, mutual trust, and strong partnership, a military statement said on Friday.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the Victory Day celebration ceremony of the Turkish Armed Forces, held in Islamabad, according to the military’s media wing, ISPR.
General Sahir Shamshad Mirza highlighted the enduring, time-tested strategic and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Türkiye.

He extended heartfelt felicitations on the occasion of Victory Day to the people and political leadership of Turkiye and all ranks of the Turkish Armed Forces.
Distinguished civilian and military officials, media personnel, business leaders, members of the diplomatic community, and civil society attended the ceremony, underscoring the wide-ranging support for the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Türkiye.
Earlier on arrival, CJCSC was received by Mr. Berk ECE, Chargé d’affaires of Türkiye Embassy in Pakistan.
