RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Saud Medical City, a member of the Riyadh First Health Cluster, has launched a robotic joint replacement service to enhance patient care.
The service is part of ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare quality, improve patient access, promote prevention before treatment, and achieve the objectives of the Healthcare Transformation Programme, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
This service is one of the latest advancements in orthopedic medical technology, enabling both total and partial knee replacements, as well as highly precise hip replacement surgeries that demand careful planning.
King Saud Medical City emphasised that the introduction of this technology marks a significant milestone in its healthcare offerings, demonstrating its commitment to adopting cutting-edge medical innovations to enhance patient care and improve quality of life.
