ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s U19 volleyball team continued their commanding run in the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship, silencing the home crowd with a straight-sets victory over host Uzbekistan, winning 3-0 in their second Pool A clash.
With set scores of 25-23, 25-18, and 25-21, the young Men in Green displayed nerves of steel, showcasing a blend of raw talent, tactical precision, and relentless energy on the court.
Leading from the Front
Captain Muhammad Yahya was the heartbeat of the squad, turning in a stellar performance with 24 points, including 21 thunderous attack points, leading his team with both poise and power. Supporting him were Saud with 10 points, and Muhtad Ali Shah and Ajmal, who chipped in with 9 points each.
