RIYADH: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are marching forward together to strengthen their brotherly ties.
According to Radio Pakistan, PM Shehbaz Sharif was addressing a news conference along with Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, in Riyadh today. The PM stated that under the dynamic leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), we will achieve prosperity and progress not only for the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan but the entire Muslim Ummah, Radio Pakistan added.
Describing his meetings in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as reassuring, the PM said, “We have discussed very important mutually beneficial projects”. He also expressed satisfaction that the MoUs inked a few weeks ago are now under implementation. “We are like a family and will build on in times to come”, the PM said.
Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan will be producing skilled workforce which will further contribute in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) development.
In his remarks, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Investment recalled that during his recent trip to Pakistan, the two sides had concluded 27 MoUs valued at 2.2 billion dollars. He added this number has increased to 34 MoUs. He added the value of these agreements has also increased to 2.8 billion dollars.
