ISLAMABAD: Chinese investors expressed interest to invest in diverse sectors in Pakistan and lauded the efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to attract foreign investment, a statement said.
According to a press release, a high-level Chinese delegation of China Asia Economic Association visited the SIFC on Monday. The officials of SIFC warmly welcomed the Chinese delegation and briefed them about industrial development and investment opportunities in Pakistan.
The delegation expressed deep interest in different sectors including industry, banking, defense, energy, agricultural, and health. The delegation also expressed confidence in SIFC for taking steps to make foreign investment in Pakistan easy.
The visit will further enhance business to business and business to government contacts between the two sides.
