UMLUJ: The Saudi Border Guard search and rescue teams in the Tabuk area have rescued a child from drowning in Umluj Governate, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.
The child was given first aid and moved to the hospital for medical care where his condition is stable.
The General Directorate of Border Guard urged visitors to exercise maximum caution and adhere to maritime safety guidelines. It also asked vacationers to monitor children while swimming at designated places. It said in case of emergency, people may call for assistance 911 in the Makkah and Eastern regions, and 994 in the rest of the Kingdom.
