SRINAGAR: Kashmiri leaders and organizations have reiterated that the people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) are engaged in a legitimate struggle for their UN-pledged right to self-determination.
According to media reports, the leaders and organizations said that the people of Kashmir freedom movement has been recognized internationally as a just struggle. They added that global law grants them the right to struggle for freedom from Indian occupation.
They also emphasized, UNSC resolutions have legitimized their struggle for self-determination. They added that they would continue their peaceful resistance until these resolutions was executed.

The leaders and organizations said that New Delhi’s attempts to equate their freedom struggle with terrorism through propaganda and false flag operations will not succeed. The international community must support their legitimate struggle for freedom as well as self-determination, they maintained.
“The Modi regime’s violent repression in Occupied Kashmir will only strengthen our determination. We are determined to continue our struggle until a plebiscite is held under the United Nations auspices.”
Kashmiri leaders appealed to the world to recognize the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and support their just struggle for freedom.
