ISLAMABAD: Pakistani drama actress Hira Khan has exposed shocking revelations regarding casting fraud and inappropriate demands during an audition process.

In an interview that has gained widespread attention on social media, Hira Khan detailed her troubling experience with a well-known casting director who allegedly requested that she attend an audition in revealing clothing at an unsociable hour.

In the viral interview, Khan recounted that she was encouraged by a colleague to audition for a new drama project being directed by a prominent figure in the industry.

According to Khan, the director bypassed the standard procedure of reviewing her portfolio or past work and instead invited her directly for an audition.

The actress revealed, “When I initially contacted the director, he asked me to come for the audition at 3 pm, but then he insisted on a late-night slot at 11 pm and requested that I wear short clothes for the audition.”

Hira Khan expressed her surprise and discomfort with these demands, stating that such attire was contrary to her on-screen image and personal principles.

Despite the director’s assurances that the audition would be private, seen only by the producers and himself, Khan refused the request. She emphasized her unwillingness to comply with such an unusual and inappropriate demand.

Following her refusal, Khan sought advice from another industry insider, who informed her that such requests are often indicative of fraudulent casting practices. This conversation led Khan to conclude that the incident was likely an attempt to exploit aspiring actors under false pretenses.
