Islamabad: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has implemented the Saudi Noor Volunteer Program to combat blindness and the diseases that cause it in Pakistan’s provinces of Sindh and Balouchistan from May 15 to July 10, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
According to the SPA, during the program, undertaken in cooperation with the Albasar International Foundation, KSrelief’s volunteer medical team has keenly examined around 21,614 cases, distributed 4,683 eyeglasses, and also performed 2,038 successful eye surgeries.
The SPA further reported that this program is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) ongoing humanitarian and relief projects, executed through KSrelief, to support the health sector and those with eye diseases in various nations.
