RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued to provide healthcare for vulnerable people in Sudan and Yemen, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.
The KSrelief carried out a volunteer medical project for urology surgery in Port Sudan, Republic of Sudan. The project scheduled for July 13 to 20 involved 11 volunteers from various medical specialties. The volunteer medical team of the center already completed six successful specialized surgeries.
The center also launched a volunteer medical project for orthopedic surgery in the Seiyun district of Yemen’s Hadhramaut Governorate from July 13 to 20. Seven volunteers from various medical specialties participated in the project.
Since the start of the project, the KSrelief medical team has performed seven specialized surgical operations, all of which were successful.
The initiatives are part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian efforts, facilitated through KSrelief, to provide medical aid to those in need worldwide.
