Pakistan Army Officer Martyred, Two Terrorists Killed in North Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army officer embraced martyrdom, while two terrorists were killed during an intense fire exchange in the North Waziristan district of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a press release.

According to ISPR, on July 9 (Tuesday), a fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists in the North Waziristan district.

During the fierce engagement, Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, as a result of which two terrorists were sent to hell, ISPR stated.

However, during the intense exchange of fire, leading his troops from the front, Captain Muhammad Osama bin Arshad (age: 24 years, resident of Rawalpindi district), having fought gallantly, made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat, ISPR stated.

Sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area. “Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” ISPR maintained.
