GAZA: Israeli security forces have killed around 66 Palestinian people in four days of strikes on Rafah ‘safe zones’, Arab media reported on Thursday. According to “Save the Children” the attacks come less than a week following the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Israel to immediately stop its operation in Rafah.

The aid group stated the 66 victims included many women and children and called for urgent action to secure civilian population in Rafah and across Gaza.

Save the Children’s country director in the occupied Palestinian territory said in a statement via social media people are constantly, permanently, fleeing for their lives, from one danger zone to another danger area. The country director said that they are not fleeing randomly – they are going to the areas that Israeli troops directed them to go to ‘for their own safety’ and they are being attacked.

Joubert stated that people are also suffering the slow, agonizing effects of starvation in the area. He further said that Children’s mental and physical health is being pushed beyond breaking point, as kids suffer unimaginable mental harm from the violence, including the loss of families, homes, and their schools.
