ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has said that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar had useful talks with Chinese officials during his trip to China.
She said that the two nations agreed on investment and peace in the region. Mumtaz Zahra Baloch told the weekly press briefing that various investment issues including China Pakistan Economic Corridor were discussed in the meetings of Dar.
The Foreign Office spokesperson said that during meetings of FM Ishaq Dar with the Chinese officials, both sides also expressed their determination to curb terrorism and eliminate elements that sabotaged peace in the region.
The spokesperson said that India was involved in human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and Indian troops were continuing their aggression in the occupied Kashmir. The world should take notice of the current Indian atrocities in held Kashmir, she said.
Baloch further stated that series of attacks on Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip must be stopped forthwith. She said that Pakistan welcomes the UNGA resolution on Palestine’s permanent membership in the UN.
