ISLAMABAD: Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo is all set to sign a contract with Saudi club Al-Nassr, reported Spanish newspaper Marca.
Reportedly, the Portuguese forward is close to reaching a deal on a two-and-a-half-year contract at 200 million euros per season, including salary and advertising agreements.
Ronaldo’s feud with Manchester United
The 37-year-old has been without a club since he left Manchester United last week following a tumultuous relationship with the team’s manager which got further worsened after he heavily criticized the Premier League club in a TV interview with Piers Morgan.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner claimed during the interview that he felt “betrayed by the club”, saying that he had “no respect” for the manager Erik Ten Hag.
Al-Nassr seeks dominance at the domestic level

The club is led by French professional football manager and former player Rudi García. Colombian goalkeeper Ospina and the Spanish Álvaro González are part of the club. The Riyadh team seeks to regain dominance at the domestic level and make a place in international competition with the help of Ronaldo.
