ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has received $500 million from Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), said the Ministry of Finance.
The ministry said in a tweet on Tuesday that the funds have been deposited with the State Bank of Pakistan and will augment the country’s reserves.
Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar in a tweet from his personal Twitter account also confirmed the fund’s transfer by the AIIB to the government of Pakistan.
