ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said on Sunday that Pakistan attached high importance to its relations with the United States.
Responding to a letter from US President Joe Biden, the prime minister said that both nations had been working together on different significant initiatives in energy, agriculture, climate change, health and education sectors.

The prime minister said that the cooperation between the two nations on the energy sector and Green Alliance framework was welcoming, according to a statement released by the PM Office.
PM Shehbaz further wrote that Islamabad desired to work with Washington for the achievement of shared goals of international peace and stability and regional progress and prosperity.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden had addressed a letter to the prime minister in which he extended felicitation to the new government.
President Biden, in his letter, emphasized the “enduring partnership” between the US and Pakistan.
