Gold Price Remains Stable in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Amid the closure of the international market, due to Easter Holiday, the 24 karats gold price in Pakistan remained the same it was recorded a day before and was traded at Rs234,800 per tola on Saturday.

According to dealers, the price of 22 karats per tola and 10 grams for both 24 and 22 karats also experienced no change and were available at the same rate it observed a day before. 

Meanwhile, the rates for the 24-karat silver also remain stable at Rs2,600 while experiencing no change. 

Gold Price in International Market

Like the local bullion market, the gold price in the international market remained unchanged due to the closure of the gold market amid the Easter Holidays. The earlier day rate was $2,254 per ounce.

Meanwhile, during the last couple of days, the yellow metal in the international market observed a sharp increase particularly on Thursday evening that affected most of the bullion markets in the world. After the said sharp increase its price went up by $40 to $2,254 from the previous price of $.2,214 per ounce

During the last couple of days, gold prices increased by more than $120 per ounce. The Price of the precious metal in the local bullion market is mostly affected by the price in the international market.
