ISLAMABAD: The Federal Minister of Aviation, Khawaja Saad Rafique, has ordered installing smartphone charging ports in the Pakistan International Airline commercial fleet (PIA).
Federal Minister of Aviation Khawaja Saad Rafique held a high-level meeting attended by the officials of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Civil Aviation Authority (CCA), and Airports Security.
Furthermore, it was decided in the meeting to deploy modern facilities for passengers of PIA. Khawaja Saad Rafique directed the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) to provide mobile charging stations in passenger planes for the convenience of people travelling. Moreover, Saad Rafique also promised to resolve the challenges faced by PIA pilots on a priority basis.
Fake degrees
In a related development, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) registered cases against 113 employees of PIA for allegedly possessing fake degrees. FIA has opened an investigation against 113 PIA workers by lodging an FIR against them. Among the 113 workers, 18 women are also included.
Reportedly, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has identified 457 employees of the government over suspicions of having fake degrees. Out of 457 employees, 113 are of PIA from Lahore.
