ISLAMABAD: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Alzaabi, on Tuesday participated in the “Breaking the Fast” initiative launched by the Embassy to distribute Iftar meals to fasting individuals nearing Maghrib Azan in the streets of Islamabad.
The aim of the initiative is to provide Iftar meals to employees and individuals before they reach their homes.
He was accompanied by embassy officials during this occasion.
Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi stated that the “Breaking the Fast” initiative contributes to strengthening community cohesion and reflects feelings of familiarity, love, and interconnectedness among everyone.
It embodies the concept of community brotherhood, reflects our originality, customs, and values, and aims to strengthen bridges of communication within society.
