BRUSSELS: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir has met with European Union (EU) Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process Sven Koopmans, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.
During the meeting, in Brussels, the sides discussed enhancing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the EU.
They also discussed developments in Gaza and its surroundings, discussing support for all efforts to stop the escalation of military operations and secure passages for necessary humanitarian and medical assistance.
During the meeting the Saudi minister reaffirmed Kingdom’s steadfast stance regarding the Palestinian cause, calling for the implementation of relevant international resolutions regarding the two-state solution.
