ISLAMABAD: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has gifted 100 tons of dates to its Pakistani brethren as a goodwill gesture.
Following the recommendation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi government has extended the gift to the people of Pakistan continuing its annual tradition at a ceremony held here at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad.
Ambassador Nawaf Bin Said Al-Malki, along with Abdullah Al-Baqami, Director of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (Ksrelief), handed over the dates to the government of Pakistan.
This generous donation is aimed for distribution among the people of Pakistan during the holy month of Ramadan.
This kind gesture demonstrates the enduring bond of friendship and brotherhood between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan the two nations, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and generosity cherished by both Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
