JEDDAH: Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Hussein Ibrahim Taha has met with Foreign Minister of Netherlands, Hanke Bruins Slot on the sidelines of his participation in the organization’s verbal pleading before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague pertaining to the occupation of the Palestinian land, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.
According to the SPA, the two sides reviewed several issues of mutual interest.
The secretary-general expressed the organization’s concern about the continued brutal Israeli occupation and aggression against the people of Palestine, calling on the Netherlands to put more pressure on Israel, the occupying power, to end its brutalities and allow access to urgent humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip.
