ISLAMABAD: The gold market in Pakistan on Saturday witnessed an increase of Rs1,000 in gold prices and the cost of 24-karat gold reached Rs215,100 per tola.
Gold dealers said that the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs858 and is now trading at Rs184,414. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also experienced a hike, reaching Rs169,046.
These fluctuations in gold rates are closely linked to shifts in the value of the US Dollar. In contrast, the price of 24-karat silver remained unchanged at Rs2,570. In the international market, the price of gold rose by $16, reaching $2,056 per ounce.
