DUBAI: Kyrgyzstan and the UAE held talks and vowed to enhance bilateral cooperation, strengthening of economic and trade ties, implementaiton of joint infrastructure and energy projects, local media reported on Tuesday.
The two sides held these talks during a meeting between Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov and UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohammed Faraj Al Mazroui on the sidelines of the World Government Summit on Dubai.
While talking regarding implementation of earlier reached deals, President Sadyr Japarov said he attached a high importance to construction of a solar power plant by Masdar and underscored that Kyrgyzstan will comply with its duties timely.
UAE Leader to Visit Kyrgyzstan
President Sadyr Japarov reminded he invited UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to pay official visit to his country. President Japarov also expressed confidence this visit will give impetus to further enhance ties between the two nations.
On the occasion, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohammed Faraj Al Mazroui also thanked President Sadyr Japarov for accepting the invitation to attend the World Government Summit and passed greetings from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He added several important cooperation documents are considered now, which are likely to be signed during expected trip of the UAE President to Kyrgyzstan. He further said opening of the UAE Embassy is planned in Bishkek in the nearest time. Minister Suhail Mohammed Faraj Al Mazroui said UAE trade mission will visit Kyrgyzstan in the current year for strengthening trade and economic relations. The mission will also include representatives of big Emirati companies.
