ASTANA: Türkiye and Kazakhstan have discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of industry, space and IT. According to local media, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Türkiye Yerkebulan Sapiyev and Minister of Industry and Technology of Türkiye Mehmet Fatih Kacır also discussed means to enhance investment partnership in these sectors including space.

The Turkish Minister also emphasized that the first Turkic astronaut was Kazakh and hence highlighted the rich experience of Kazakhstan in this sector. The envoy, noting the experience of Ankara in industry development, informed regarding the investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan, as well as the convenience of energy and raw resources. In this regard, he also invited to transfer Turkish production enterprises to Kazakhstan. An agreement was also reached to further strengthen partnership in these areas of bilateral cooperation after the talks.
