Elon Musk Creates Poll to Reinstate Donald Trump
Twitter had permanently banned the former American president for supporting the violent assault on the US Capitol, citing “severe violations of our Civic Integrity policy.”
Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr, slammed the move saying, “free speech no longer exists in America. It died with big tech.”
Musk has created a poll on the microblogging platform, asking users whether he should reinstate former President Trump.
The poll has amassed almost 7.5 million votes from Twitterati, with 16 hours left.
Elon Musk, also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tesla and SpaceX, has drawn criticism for introducing significant changes to the California-based company he recently acquired for $44 billion.
