RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan-Bahrain joint military exercise, Al-Badar VIII, kicked off on Monday at National Counter Terrorism Centre, Pabbi with participation of contingents from Pakistan Army and Bahrain National Guards, a military statement said.
Pakistan Army’s media wing ISPR said that Al-BADAR is an annual bilateral joint exercise in Counter Terrorism domain between Pakistan and Bahrain.
It said Director General Military Training was the Chief Guest of the opening ceremony.
The ISPR said the exercise is aimed at promoting joint employment and interoperability besides, harnessing the historic military to military ties among the brotherly nations.
Both countries have displayed enthusiasm and zeal for benefiting from each other’s experience.
