Gold Rates Up by Rs 1,500 Per Tola

ISLAMABAD: The cost of 24-carat gold per tola surged by Rs 1,500, reaching Rs 215,400, compared to its previous value of Rs 213,900 on the last trading day.

The All Sindh Sarafa Jeweler’s Association reported on Monday that 10-gram price for 24-carat gold also experienced a rise of Rs 1,286, reaching Rs 184,671, up from Rs 183,385. Similarly, the rates for 10 grams of 22-carat gold increased to Rs 169,282 from Rs 168,103.

Notably, the prices for silver remained unchanged, with the per tola and 10-gram prices holding steady at Rs 2,600 and Rs 2,229.08, respectively.

According to the Association’s report, in the international market, the price of gold saw a $12 increment, rising to $2,050 from the previous value of $2,038. —APP
