RIYADH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud has congratulated President of Congo Félix Tshisekedi on his re-election for a new term, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.
King Salman in a cable wished the Congolese president good health and happiness, and the government and people of the African state steady progress and prosperity.

According to the SPA, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, in a separate cable, congratulated President Félix Tshisekedi on his re-election for a new term.
The Crown Prince wished him continued happiness and good health. He also wished the government and people of Congo steady progress and prosperity.
President Felix Tshisekedi won with landslide victorying in the elections held in December last year, securing a second term. Tshisekedi got 73% of the vote, with his closest rival, Moise Katumbi, garnering 18%.
