TASHKENT: The Uzbekistan-China investment forum will be organized in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province of China, on 25 January.
Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade said that the participants of the forum will have an opportunity to meet potential partners, discuss prospects for further cooperation and conclude mutually beneficial deals with Chinese representatives.
The event is likely to be attended by more than three hundred executives of China’s largest companies.
Panel sessions on such topics as “Digital Transformation”, “Energy and Electrical Engineering”, “Infrastructure”, as well as B2B and G2B meetings are envisaged.
Uzbekistan’s delegation
Earlier, a delegation from Uzbekistan’s Andijan area led by regional governor Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov and more than three hundred Chinese businessmen, representatives of important companies, attended a large business forum in the Chinese city of Tianjin.
The sides inked deals and memoranda.
Trade turnover between the countries amounted to 8.3 billion dollars from January through August 2023.
