Gold Price Down by Rs.900 to Settle at Rs.220,000 Per Tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: After a continuous increase for the last couple of days, the per tola price of 24 karats of gold witnessed a decline and went down by Rs.900 to settle at Rs.220,000 on Saturday compared to Rs.220,900 last day. 

Meanwhile, according to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the rates for the 10 grams of 24 karats of the yellow metal also decreased by Rs.771 to close at Rs.188,615 from its previous day price of Rs.189,386 whereas the rates for the 10 grams 22 karats of gold decreased to Rs.172,897 from its last day sale of Rs.173,60.

However, like the last couple of days, the price of per tola and ten grams of the white plate (silver) remained constant at Rs2,680 and Rs.2,297.66, respectively. 

Gold Price in International Market

Like the local bullion market, the price of the yellow plate in the international market also witnessed a decrease and went down by $8 to settle at $2,082 per ounce from its last-day price of $2,090 per ounce.

The price of gold in the local market is mostly affected by international rates. The last couple of days witnessed a significant in the price of gold in the international market, affecting the local gold market.
