JEDDAH: Aroya Cruise, the first cruise line in Saudi Arabia, associated with Saudi Cruise Company has unveiled the first cruise ship in its fleet, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.
According to the SPA the ship is 335 meters long, has 19 various decks and 1,682 cabins with different designs. The cabins will provide Arab taste and exceptional experience to those wishing to spend their vacations in the region.
Aroya Cruise was launched in 2023, to meet the aspirations of the Arab markets. It focuses on providing distinctive experiences to travelers. The cruise ship would also offer event programs suitable for different groups and ages.
Food and drinks that will be served during cruises, will reflect the spirit authentic Arab hospitality that characterize Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Cruise CEO Lars Claassen has expressed pride in the announcement, adding it is another achievement for Saudi Cruise, and is part of its endeavors to establish a leading sector in the field of tourist cruises in Saudi Arabia.
The “Aroya Cruise” ship is scheduled to start its trips from the city of Jeddah in 2024.
