Cricket: Rain Stops Play in Australia-Pakistan 2nd Test at MCG

MELBOURNE, Australia: Rain stopped play on the opening day of the second cricket Test match between Australia and Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground here on Tuesday.

The hosts were 114-2 when they have had to leave the field mid-way through the second session, with a severe weather warning issued by the Bureau of Meteorology of Australia.

Marnus Labuschagne was on playing on 14 and Steve Smith was not out on 2. Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl, removing David Warner (38) and Usman Khawaja (42).
