JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has welcomed UN Security Council Resolution, which calls for immediate steps to “permit, facilitate and also enable the immediate, safe and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid” to the Palestinians, stressing that it is a significant measure that must be executed immediately, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday.
The OIC issued a press statement calling on the world, particularly the UNSC, to compel Israel to immediately and completely comply with the provisions of the resolution, to ensure the delivery of humanitarian assistance, protect civilian population and workers in the media, health and humanitarian sectors, and not carry out its plan to forcefully displace the people of Palestine.

The OIC also renewed its call for an end to the brutal Israeli military aggression and to the destruction, genocide and displacement to which the people of Palestine are subjected in all the Palestinian territories, but especially in Gaza.
