Three Killed as Fire Breaks Out in Residential Building in India’s Bihar

NEW DELHI: A residential building in earthen India’s Bihar engulfed in fires, leaving at least three dead and two with serious burn injuries.

The local administration official confirmed the incident, saying the fire broke out in a two-storey residential building in Motihari district of Bihar due to a short circuit.

The victims of this tragic incident include Raushan Pandit (25) and his wife Savita Devi (22), both of whom were charred to death. The identification of the third person, who also lost their life, is currently under verification.

Injured Rushed to Hospital in Bihar

Two others, Subodh Pandit (father of Raushan Pandit) and Shalu Kumari, suffered serious burn injuries and were rushed to the Sadar Hospital Motihari. Unfortunately, their conditions are reported to be critical.

Media reports indicate that the fire has been successfully extinguished. The community mourns the loss of lives in this tragic incident, emphasizing the need for continued vigilance and safety measures to prevent such disasters in the future.
