RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has received a telephone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Espen Barth Eide, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday.

According to the SPA, the two sides discussed the course of work of the ministerial committee assigned by the joint Arab-Islamic extraordinary summit and the discussions held by the ministerial committee in Beijing, Moscow, London, and Paris.
They also discussed the significance of stopping the dangerous military escalation in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings, and adhering to any humanitarian ceasefire and truce agreement, in addition to discussing global efforts to facilitate the entry of humanitarian relief, and medical help to stop the aggravation of the humanitarian crisis.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah stressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s categorical rejection of forced displacements of the people of Gaza, and the necessity of finding a solution to prevent all the continuous violations of the Israeli occupation troops and their repeated violations of global law and global humanitarian law.
The Foreign Minister also noted the significance of the world fulfilling its moral and principled responsibility towards adhering to the resolutions of international legitimacy, the latest of which is the UNSC resolution of last week, in order to achieve credibility for the global system, maintain global security and peace, and stop motives of violence and extremism.
