ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani snooker team has been finalized to compete in the 2023 IBSF World Men’s (15 Reds) Snooker and Teams & 6 Reds Championship, which will take place in Doha, Qatar, from November 5–15.
The players to feature in IBSF World Men’s (15 Red, November 5 to 10) include Babar Masih, Muhammad Naseem Akhtar, and Ahsan Ramzan.
The players in the IBSF World Teams Championship include Ahsan Ramzan and Muhammad Naseem Akhtar (Team A) and Babar Masih & Muhammad Sajjad (Team B).
The players participating in the IBSF World 6 Reds C’ship (November 5 to 15) include Ahsan Ramzan and Muhammad Naseem Akhtar.
The World Men’s (15 Reds) Teams and 6 Reds Championships 2023 training camp will be held in four cities: Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sargodha, and Sahiwal from October 9 to 31.
During this camp, players will engage in training sessions from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., focusing on honing their skills and preparing for the upcoming World events.
The federation holds high hopes that these dedicated players will bring honor and recognition to the country through their performance in these upcoming tournaments. —APP
