BEIJING: A Chinese defense spokesperson shared that Pakistani and Chinese navies will hold the “Sea Guardians-3” joint maritime exercise in the airspace and waters of the northern Arabian Sea in November.
The Ministry of National Defense spokesperson, Wu Qian, said at a Press conference that the exercise aims to focus on a joint response to threats to maritime security and include various subjects such as search and rescue, anti-submarine operation, and formation movement.
The exercise will also arrange professional exchanges and mutual visits according to the details.
According to Wu, this exercise aims to reinforce the two nations’ long-standing friendship and all-weather strategic cooperative relationship, as well as to give their military more realistic combat training. —APP
