In a tweet on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister stated, “Heartbroken by the escalating violence in the Middle East, which underscores the urgent need to address the Palestine Question.” He emphasized that enduring peace in the Middle East hinges on a two-state solution. This solution envisions a viable, contiguous, sovereign State of Palestine, established on pre-1967 borders, with Al Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) at its heart.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Foreign Office released a statement affirming the nation’s close monitoring of the evolving situation in the Middle East. Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch expressed deep concern regarding the human toll resulting from the escalating conflict.
She emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering support for a two-state solution as the fundamental pathway to achieving enduring peace in the Middle East. This approach encompasses a just, comprehensive, and enduring resolution to the Palestinian issue. It is firmly grounded in international law and aligned with pertinent United Nations and OIC resolutions.
The spokesperson underscored the critical significance of establishing a viable, sovereign, and contiguous State of Palestine, founded on pre-1967 borders, with Al Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) as its capital.
She called upon the international community to come together in unity to facilitate the cessation of hostilities, safeguard civilian lives, and actively pursue a lasting peace in the Middle East.
