BEIJING: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Transport and Logistics Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, along with a delegation, held a series of meetings with top executives of prominent Chinese companies in Beijing. These meetings culminated in the signing of multiple joint agreements aimed at bolstering cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China.
These meetings were held with representatives from Kerry Company, Almajdouie Sinotrans Middle East, JDL Company, and Cainiao-Alibaba Group encompassed presentations about the companies, the significant challenges they encounter, and strategies to facilitate their operations within the Saudi market. The companies were granted licenses to conduct logistics activities within the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia Logistics Academy to Collaborate with J&T Express, iMile
During these meetings, Rumaih Al-Rumaih, the Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics Services and Acting President of the Public Transport Authority (PTA), signed agreements with Cainiao-Alibaba Group, J&T Express, and iMile to provide efficient short-address services. Additionally, the Deputy Transport Minister also inked agreements with J&T Express and iMile to facilitate training collaborations with the Saudi Logistics Academy.
These meetings took place on the sidelines of the Minister of Transport’s participation in the Global Sustainable Transport Forum’s inauguration, held in Beijing on September 25 and 26.
