RIYADH: Saudi Assistant Minister of Culture Rakan Al-Touq has held a meeting with Bulgarian Minister of Culture Krastyu Krastev in Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.

According to the SPA, the meeting was held on the sidelines of the 45th Extended Session of UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee that is taking place from Sep 10 to 25 in Saudi Arabia. Al-Touq welcomed Krastyu Krastev to Saudi Arabia and also thanked the Bulgarian Cabinet for extending their support to Riyadh’s bid to host Expo 2030.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen cultural cooperation in different fields, organize visual arts exhibitions in both nations, the SPA maintained.
