ISLAMABAD—-Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has announced the result of the Intermediate Annual Examination 2022 with a passing percentage of 77.40.
Chairman Lahore Board Habib Mirza, Controller Examination Farhan, and other officials announced the results in a press conference on Thursday. The board officials revealed that a total of 150,937 appeared while 116,826 passed with a percentage of 77.40.
Girls outshine in the Pre-Medical Group, as 81.53 percent of boys passed the exam while 86.70 percent of girls passed while a total of 85.31 percent of students were able to pass the exams.
In the Pre-Engineering group, 79.47 boys and 86.20 girls passed, however a total of 81.98 students passed. In Humanities and other groups, 84.64 girls and 64.15 boys passed making a total percentage of 76.57 in the group. Similarly in General Science, 70.69 girls and 55.02 boys passed the exams making a total percentage of 61.45 in the group.
While addressing the result announcement ceremony at the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore, Chairman Habib Mirza said that this year no positions were announced and the relative grading concept was introduced. According to this concept, no student will be failed instead F grade was awarded to students who appeared in the Annual Examination Intermediate 2022, he added.
The Lahore Board did the same practice in Matriculation Annual Examination 2022 and no position was announced.
