RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s industry minister, Bandar Al-Khorayef, has visited factories of Aselsan defense electronics and Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ) in Ankara, Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.
He was briefed on the technologies of the factories used in defense electronics and aerospace industries. The Saudi official also visited the production lines and work mechanisms of the factories.
The minister discussed cooperation between the Saudi and Turkish sides in numerous industries in accordance with the objectives of the National Strategy for Industry.
Moreover, he discussed exchange of industrial experiences and highlighted Kingdom’s objectives on developing industry.
Al-Khorayef pointed out the Kingdom’s objectives for developing the industrial sector, including incentives to attract investments, adding that the national strategy for industry focuses on 12 fields and provides investment opportunities worth SR1 trillion.
